D.A.K. Constitution

Article 1.

Rules and Bylaws

No illegal drugs of any kind will be tolerated at/during any club activities. No driving under the influence during any club activity. No gang related activities tolerated. We are not a gang. No outbursts tolerated. We are not children. No derogatory remarks about club members, his/her vehicle or their guests will be tolerated.  MUST obey ALL attendance policies and be active in club meetings and outings. Must have approved club logo on vehicle at ALL times. NO EXCEPTIONS! if your vehicle is without a D.A.K. logo your membership and D.A.K. loyality WILL be questioned. Must actually show a vehicle at no less than two shows per show season. Membership:Must be 18 or older.
Article 2.

Meetings, Attendance and Club Dues

Meetings: Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.  Location is TBD. Location will be determined and notified to members via phone call or text message. We will meet at the specified location to tend to club business and then to eat together.

 

Attendance: All members must attend all meetings and dinners.  All members must be on time.  All members must notify a Club Officer prior to a meeting in the event of an absence or lateness.  Any member that misses two consecutive meetings without prior excuses will be reviewed by the Club Members for a possible dismissal vote.

 

Club Dues: $25 per month.

Any club member who gets behind by more than 2 months will be reviewed by the club for appropriate action to be taken. action.

Article 3.


Logos: All vehicles of active members must display Draggin' Ass Kustomz logo on exterior of vehicle in plain view. Full logo on back window for full members. Prospects will display a D.A.K. logo. This goes for all members. No exceptions, EVER. Probationary members will not be able to display full club logo until they have been officially voted in.  Until you are an official D.A.K. member you will fly a D.A.K. Prospect logo until you meet the full requirements. Rain rides, family vehicles, tow vehicles, and trailers can have small badge logo but not full logos. Logo must not be absent from vehicle for more than 30 days. Logos can be obtained through the club secretary, and normally available within a few days. 

 
Article 4.

Prospects

Must attend two consecutive meetings in order to be considered. Vehicle must be clean and above average in appearance. Vehicle must have 3 MAJOR modifications or 3 or more MINOR modifications. See Article 6. for mods requirements. Must have majority of club vote in order to become an active member. Prospective members not having majority club vote must wait to be reconsidered for membership. Any member taking a leave of absence must have majority club vote to be reconsidered for active membership. 

Article 5.

Rules for Cruises

2. No jumping out of line, except for emergencies.

3. If the club does not leave as a group then the highest officer will lead the group.

4. Headlights and 4-way flashers must be on in formation.

5. Maintain a safe and equal distance  (15-20 meters) between the vehicle ahead of you

6. If a club member is pulled over, the rest of the club will proceed to the next right exit and wait.

Article 6.

Here is a list of Major and Minor mods as deemed necessary by the president and his officers to fairly consider a vehicle for membership. A list of mods will be maintained in prospects record. Once there are 3 major and 3 or more minor mods are checked off then that Prospect can be considered for full membership.

MAJOR MODS

Suspension: Bags and or Body Drops, Juice, Static drops (must be slammed)

Body Mods: Shaving, suicide doors, lambo doors, tilt hoods, tilt trunks, tilt front ends and beds, chop tops, frenching mods, aftermarket body kits, cowl hoods, carbon fiber hoods, sliding rags, and tonneaus

Engine Mods: Internal mods, swaps, turbo and super chargers etc.

Interior mods: Completed custom interior, fiberglass work

Wheels: To be a major mod must be 18 inches or bigger

MINOR MODS

Sound System: Head Unit, Sub's, Amps, Mids and Highs, Screen's (Installation if done custom professional can be considered a major mod at the Club President's discretion)

Lighting: Headlight's, Corners, Tails, Neon's, Strobe's

Exhaust:

Muffler, Cat's, Pipe

Engine:

Paint, bolt on's

Suspension:

Brake's, Trailing arms, Pan Hard Bars, Rack and Pinion, Control Arms, Spindles

Wheels:

Anything 17 inches and below except stock. Stock is not a mod.

Other: Tint,

Article 7.

Recogntion

Draggin' Ass Kustomz will recognize members for their accomplishments. Every quarter there will be an award given for the member that earns the most points from the list below.

Truck Runs= 3 pts

Showing= 1 pt

Trophy= 1 pt

Meetings= 2 pts, late= 1 pt

Club Activity= 1 pt

Show (local-within 1/2 hour from Killeen, TX)= 2 pts

Show (out of town- more than 1/2 hour from Killeen)= 3 pts

Club participation (at shows)= 1 pt

Article 8.

Officer Responsibilities

Sec. 1. The Club President is the chief executive officer of this Club and is responsible for fulfilling the mission of this Club. The President presides at meetings of this Club; and has general supervision of the operation of this Club. The President shall transmit to this Club for its approval or disapproval all ideas and plans proposed, which may affect this Club or its individual members; and shall take no action binding upon this Club without either specific prior authorization or subsequent ratification by this Club. The President reserves the right to make position changes and to expel club members anytime if he deems necessary for the well-being of the club.

Sec.  2. The Club Vice President is second in charge. Presides over the meetings when the Club President is not available. You are the Presidents right hand man and should assist him and other club officers with their duties. Attend all club meetings

Sec. 3. The Club Secretary is responsible for Club records and correspondence. The Club Secretary has custody of the Club’s Charter, Constitution, and Bylaws and all other records and documents of this Club; keeps an accurate record of the meetings and activities of this Club; maintains an accurate and complete roster of individual members of this Club, including the address and status of each individual member; and transmits the same to the successor in office. The Club Secretary provides notices of meetings as required by this Constitution, and immediately notifies The Club President of any change in the roster of individual members. Attend all club meetings.

Sec. 4. The Club Treasurer is responsible for Club financial policies, procedures, and controls. The Club Treasurer receives and disburses, with the approval of this Club, all Club funds; pays all financial obligations of this Club as they come due; and keeps an accurate account of all transactions. The Club Treasurer shall make financial reports to this Club upon request, and shall transmit the accounts and all undistributed funds to the successor in office at the end of the Club Treasurer’s term. Attend all club meetings.

Sec. 5. The Sergeant at Arms is responsible for Club event management, meeting room preparation, and hospitality. The Sergeant at Arms maintains good order and discipline and sets the example for other club members to emulate. Attend all club meetings.

Sec. 6. The Immediate Past Club President provides advice and counsel as requested by the Club President.
